There is no doubt that Xiaomi models are a big success in India despite of its mixed reviews. People are aware of the point that they cannot get everything at this price tag. Xiaomi models have attained success because they are offering some great specifications and people are not paying a hefty amount for it. Currently they are offering Xiaomi Redmi1S model in India but company is soon planning to discontinue it, as they are now bringing Xiaomi Redmi Note for their customers.
Many sources close to the industry are saying that Xiaomi may launch this model on December 2nd, 2014. Recently company announced that Redmi Note will be the next model for India and it will be launched very soon. It is unlikely that company bring any other model during this time as they do not offer multiple devices at the same time. The official page of Xiaomi is holding a special contest through which they are now offering some free Redmi Note models. It also says that the model will be launched very soon in India.
Xiaomi is setting their own trend with this contest as they did exactly the same while launching Mi3 and Redmi1S. Moreover there will be no change in their selling policy also as flash sales will be offered like before. Xiaomi Redmi Note is a ‘phablet’ with a massive screen-size of 5 inches. It will work through Android version 4.3 JellyBean and it will have the custom MIUI5 Interface. However most probably they will offer MIUI6 by the end of the year. The ‘phablet’ will have an Octa-Core processor and the gadget will have Mali-450MP4 GPU.
Primary camera of this model will be of 13MP with some high-quality characteristics like LED flash, HDR, and face/smile detection. Video power is 1080p@30fps and secondary camera is of 5MP. It will be unfair to compare it with any other model as the brand has its own category. The resolutions of the screen are 720*1280 pixels and the pixel density is 267 ppi. It is a multi-touch model containing IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen and the gadget has all the latest connectivity features like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot and Wi-Fi Direct.
