Sony SmartWatch 3 : Arrives Globally

SmartWatch seems to be the next big thing in gadget section as many makers have now started bringing their individual editions. Sony is among them and the new Sony SmartWatch 3 is Now available at the Google Play store. It has been learnt that company is ready to ship the new models and it will soon be available for the Sony lovers. Preorder has already been started whereas the general sale will start from November 16th onwards. Earlier this watch was expected to arrive on October 23rd but the makers took their own time to bring it for their customers due to some obvious reasons.


This smartwatch has 1.6 inch display and you can get this model in classic and sports editions. These editions are IP-68 certified which means that it has water and dust protection features as per global standards. It has a TFT LCD screen with the resolutions of 320*320 pixels. You can utilize a 1.2 GHz ARM A7 quad-core processor with some good connectivity options like NFC, Bluetooth version 4.0 and GPS. One of the best things about this smartwatch is that you can use it with any Android smartphone. The minimum requirement is Android 4.3 JellyBean and you can use it comfortably.

The weight of Sony SmartWatch 3 is 38 grams and the dimensions are 36*10*51 mm. The model has 512MB RAM and you can get the storage capacity of 4GB here. Company has included Silicon based rubber strap and stainless steel rear panel that makes the watch gorgeous. There are some more straps available from which you can select your option. The price of this smartwatch starts with $290 only. Sony is using lithium-polymer 420mAh battery here. Company recently told that it can stay up to four days on standby and it takes less than 55 minutes to charge. So check this smartwatch if you are looking for a new gadget.
