How to Save Battery on iOS8

The battery life of iOS devices is a concern for many people. Those who have used these devices know very well that certain steps are required to be taken if we want to increase battery life. Many folks close to the industry were expecting that Apple may take some steps to improve the battery life but it seems that nothing special was done. Here we are discussing some steps through which you can save battery on iOS8.

(1)Wi-Fi Auto-Search: – Do you actually require Wi-Fi Auto-Search all the time? If not required then it is better to close Wi-Fi Auto-Search because it affects the battery life of the device. Simply go to the ‘settings’ section and turn it off.

(2)Check Parallax: – Parallax function is not that much useful every time. User Interface can be managed comfortably once you set the functions as per your preference. If you do not require Parallax then it is useful to switch it off.

(3)Proper App Management: – There may be some background apps running on your device. If you haven’t checked it then it is advisable to check now and close all those apps which you do not need. This will help you to save a lot of battery. Moreover uninstall all those apps that are of no use for you. It will assist you to increase the battery life and you can utilize the gadget more efficiently.

(4)Screen Adjustments: – Have you checked Auto Brightness? You should turn on this feature to save battery. Check dynamic backgrounds and if you do not want then you should disable the feature. Furthermore it is also better to reduce the screen brightness. These small steps can help you to use your phone appropriately at that time when you actually need it.

(5)Widgets: – The new iOS8 allows you to access widgets from notification center. It is certainly beneficial for many of us. However it is not important to use all the widgets. Now more precisely we can say that the widgets where data is going to be changed after a short regular interval may decrease the battery life. It is beneficial for you if you do not use those widgets on a regular basis.
