HP is Gearing up with its New Windows Laptop to Take on Chrome Book

HP is now getting ready to compete with Chrome book as one of their upcoming Windows 8.1 based laptop is making news due the price tag. Sources close to the industry are saying that the new HP laptop will be for $199 only and it will be available by the end of this year. Most probably we would be able to use it around Christmas. This laptop can have more facilities in comparison to Chrome Book. Therefore it is very clear that in upcoming months we may see a new competition where companies may offer different types of laptops with a low price tag.

Currently the specifications of this new HP Stream Notebook are not official. However it is expected that the model can have the dimensions of 13.5*9.5*0.7 inches. The display can be of 1366*768 pixels whereas screen size is expected to be 14 inches. It may not have an Intel chip. There are talks that company may include AMD “Mullins” processor. So it will be very interesting to see how the model is going to perform and what can be its actual price tag.

The built-in storage capacity of this laptop can be 32GB and 64GB. Furthermore RAM can be of 2GB. You can utilize various connectivity options here like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. It can also have an SDXC card slot as well as HDMI Out. Specifications of this model are very similar to Chrome Book. Moreover there is not a huge difference in price tag also. These are main reasons due to which experts are taking it as a competitor for Chrome Book. Therefore if you want to check some more options similar to Chrome Book then you can check this model. It may be a good choice if you want an economical model.
