Google to reveal operating system that will challenge Apple’s CarPlay

Google AutoLink

Google is all set to display first in-car operating system at its annual software developer conference this month namely Google I/O. This surely challenges Apple’s CarPlay that’s was announced in March.

Google surely is intensifying its race with Apple to become the leader in dashboard computing. Internally named as Google AutoLink (GAL) is a “projected” system not integrated, which means that smartphones using Google’s Android operating system could be controlled using a car’s own controls and display screen. Google is said to have plans to detail the Google AutoLink system at I/O at the end of June

With Google wanting to expand its Android territory beyond Mobiles, its surely a welcome move and an interesting addon to your car dashboard.
