ASUS to Bring Low Cost Laptops in India on January 21st

The market of low cost laptops will further heat up as ASUS is getting ready to bring their new Eeebook on January 21st in India. There are already some big makers offering low-end models of similar type but ASUS has a little long history of bringing these kinds of models for their customers. Company is showing the teaser from some time. However recently they formally announced about this model.

The weight of this laptop is less than 1Kg. and it will be lighter than the other laptops of similar size. Makers had shown this laptop in IFA 2014 and now it will be available for sale. This laptop will be based on Windows 8.1 operating system and you can use 32GB eMMC storage and 2GB RAM in this model.

This laptop will have a quad-core Z3735 1.33GHz processor, VGA web camera, as well as additional card storage facility. It will have a battery life of 10 hours and the price tag is $199 only. The dimensions of the laptop are 11.3”*7.6”*0.7”. ASUS has brought this model for those who are not very heavy users. Those people who love keeping their music and films on their laptop can utilize additional storage facility as operating system is already taking a lot of space.

It has two USB 2.0 ports, microSDXC card slot and microHDMI port also. Connectivity section is good enough under this range as you can enjoy the facility of latest Wi-Fi system and Bluetooth features. The model is good if you are using it for yourself only. Some other makers are also providing low-cost models. Therefore it may not be that much easy for ASUS to capture the market. You can also get free 100GB Microsoft OneDrive cloud storage for two years.
