Android’s New Operating System – Lemon Meringue Pie

The new version of Android operating system may arrive soon but the official name of this version is still not clear to anyone. However some leaked sources are saying that the name of new Android operating system can be ‘Lemon Meringue Pie’.

Some leaked reports are saying that many official documents are using the codename ‘LMP’ and most probably it can be the name of the next operating system. Some official documents related to Nexus 8 also give the hint that the original name of the next Android OS can be LMP. Some open source projects of Android also drop the clue that the name can be Lemon Meringue Pie. Therefore the curiosity is also increasing with every passing day as Android is well-known to rename their operating systems in a unique way.

The leaked SDK source code says that Google may name it as ‘Lemon Meringue Pie’ which is a well-known yummy baked food generally utilized as dessert. Google may also use the same for Nexus 5 and Nexus 7. Therefore we need to wait for some more time to know more about it.

So far there is no official document of Google that says that LMP is indeed ‘Lemon Meringue Pie’ but most of the specialists are saying that it can be the official name of the next operating system. There are some official papers of HTC Volantis that contains the word LMP. So it further adds more to the speculations about the name. The official details are still to arrive but most of the experts may not be surprised if Google announces the name LMP for next operating system.
